We Grow Ours

Most distilleries buy their base spirit in bulk from industrial suppliers. We don't. Every drop of The Distillery Co Fiji spirit begins with Fijian sugarcane — fermented and distilled into our own ethanol at our Pacific Harbour distillery before a single botanical or ingredient is added.

We are a family distillery with 165 years of roots in these islands. Founded in 2019, we carry forward five generations of passion for Fiji's land, botanicals and people. Our entire bottling and packaging team are Fijian women drawn from the villages surrounding our distillery — their livelihoods grow with every bottle we sell.

This is not just a spirit you're taking home. It is a piece of the islands — handcrafted by the people who call Fiji home.

Travelling with family? Most countries allow each adult traveller their own duty free allowance — so a couple can effectively double their limit. Children's allowances vary by country.

Can I buy duty free when I arrive into Fiji?
Yes — Prouds Duty Free has a store in the arrivals terminal at Nadi International Airport. Look for the 2nd store on the right as you come through arrivals. Buying on arrival means you can enjoy our spirits throughout your stay in Fiji rather than having to carry them around on your last day.
Can I also buy when I depart Fiji?
Absolutely. Prouds is located in the departures terminal after check-in and security — look for the store on the left. If you've run out during your stay or want to stock up before heading home, this is your last chance to take a piece of Fiji with you.
What is my duty free alcohol allowance bringing spirits into Fiji?
Travellers arriving into Fiji may bring up to 2.25 litres of spirits duty free. If you're bringing spirits from your home country, this is your allowance. If you're planning to buy at the arrivals store, those purchases are included in your Fijian duty free entitlement.
Are The Distillery Co Fiji spirits cheaper at the airport than at home?
Generally yes — purchasing at duty free in Fiji means you pay no local taxes or import duties that would be applied in your home country. Given that our spirits are not available outside Fiji, the airport is your only opportunity to buy them at any price. Think of it less as a price comparison and more as a once-in-a-trip opportunity to take home something genuinely rare.
Where else can I buy The Distillery Co Fiji spirits in Fiji?
Our spirits are available at most major resort properties throughout Fiji, at select bars and restaurants, and at our distillery at Pacific Harbour where you can also visit us for a tour and tasting. The duty free store is the most convenient option if you're looking to take bottles home.
