KaloKalo’s heady bouquet is more reminiscent of a dark reserve rum and this delightful tropical profile allows it to be not only used as a traditional white rum mixer but in many instances, it can be used in cocktails that call for a dark rum.
Our unique distillation and fermentation process allows us to reach into the deep flavor notes of the base molasses, creating a harmonious balance of fruity aromas, light vanilla and caramel.

Before preparing your cocktail, ensure that you top up your fresh pawpaw juice with soda water. You can use one part pawpaw juice to two parts soda water.
In a tall Collins glass, add 60mls of KaloKalo Pure White rum and 90mls fresh Pineapple juice.
Top up your glass half full with ice and stir for at least 15 seconds with a bar spoon. You can use a normal spoon too if you do not have a bar spoon.
Fill the glass with ice to the brim and drizzle the pawpaw mix over the top to create a beautiful sunset in a glass!. Garnish with a Pineapple wedge. Stir well before drinking!
